Michelle has been quilting for seven years, after Pinterest told her she had to make a quilt for a close friend’s wedding gift, despite not ever having used a sewing machine. In that time, she has been a member of the Los Angeles and Fort Collins MQG’s before settling at the Dallas MQG to work in the marketing department at Moda Fabrics. At Moda, Michelle does a little bit of everything—pattern design, program planning, quilt shows, and more—and is passionate about working with fabrics of all types with a modern sensibility.
