Josée Carrier comes from an engineering field. She initially started sewing home decor projects for her home. She got into sewing and quilting seriously when she started sewing for her little ones about 5 years ago. At that point, she discovered modern prints and the online quilting community. She loves creating and designing projects of her own. She has found quilting and patchwork projects are a great way to express her creativity. She has published numerous sewing and quilting projects in different magazines: Stitch, Modern Quilts Unlimited, Fat Quarterly and Modern Patchwork, and was contributor to two books by Martingale (Set the Table! and Sew Gifts). She is the co-founder and current vice-president of the Montreal Modern Quilt Guild. If you want to learn more about her projects and patterns visit her at her blog The Charming Needle.
