About the Designer
Naomi Bombardi-Wilson, while a relative newcomer to quilting, has long been concerned with stitching things together, from film production budgets to her son’s favorite stuffed animal. She started quilting in 2017 after receiving a handmade pillow from a pregnant friend. Inspired to return the favor, without a pattern or experience and armed only with the confidence of a novice, she ventured to make a baby-quilt. Suffice it to say you can’t give a baby a quilt with pins sewn in and she has worked hard to perfect her craft ever since. Naomi’s first quilt festival submission and acceptance was QuiltCon 2019 with her minimalist design A Walk in Le Parc. Her second submission and first red ribbon winner was Night Trains at The 2020 Vermont Quilt Festival. You can see more of her work on Instagram @mschiefquilts or for sale at Indigo & Green, a shop with a Vermont twist on Wabi-sabi modern living located in Danby and @indigo-and-green. She lives in Connecticut with her son.
