About the Contributor

Sylvia Schaefer is a pattern designer and award-winning quilter. She has been quilting since approximately 2007, but didn’t really find her groove until discovering the modern quilt movement! Her background in science often inspires her quilt designs. In addition to her own line of patterns, her quilts have been published in magazines both online and in print, and her quilts have won major awards regionally and nationally.
