Sarah is a NASA engineer by day and quilter by night in Houston, where she lives with her husband and two young daughters. She made her first quilt in 2003 with running t-shirts and a borrowed sewing machine…and then spent the next 8 years thinking about (but not making) another one until finally getting a sewing machine of her own in 2011. She quickly discovered that quilting and pattern-writing combine her technical and creative skills in a really satisfying way, and it’s been a passion ever since!
