Connection and Community at QuiltCon in the Affinity Spaces

Affinity Space Meetups are opportunities for QuiltCon attendees to gather, connect, and build community around shared experiences and identities. Hosted by MQG members, they are welcoming gatherings for conversation, connection, and community. Anyone who identifies with a group is invited to attend the meetup. All MQG members may apply to host a meetup.

Everyone is invited to this gathering of Asian American and Pacific Islander quilters. This is a welcoming space to enjoy conversation, connection, and community with other Asian American and Pacific Islander quilters. We hope you will join us!
5:00–8:00 p.m. Black Quilters of the MQG Affinity Space Meetup

Join us for conversation, connection, and community with fellow Black quilters as we celebrate creativity, culture, and the shared experiences that inspire and enrich our quilting community. Additional information will be posted in the Black Quilters of the MQG Community. All are welcome!

The Individual Member Communities (IMC) are for MQG Individual Members who are not part of an MQG Member Guild. Beyond Borders and Modern Fusion host monthly online meetings open to all MQG Individual Members for connection and community.
10:30 a.m.–12:30 a.m. Neurodivergent Quilters Affinity Space Meetup

If you are neurodivergent, think you might be, love someone who is, or are an ally to the community - stop by! This is a casual space where we can share experiences and talk about the hobby bringing us all together - quilting!
3:30–5:00 p.m. LGBTQIA+ Affinity Space Meetup
All are Welcome!  Join us for a relaxed and friendly meetup for LGBTQ+ quilters and allies.  Whether you are local or traveling from afar, come connect, share, and be part of a supportive community that celebrates who we are and the quilts we create. Come as you are. Leave inspired and more connected.
