About Us:

The Ottawa Modern Quilt Guild welcomes quilters of all levels who want to “make it modern.”  We are a creative and social outlet for quilters of all levels and for those interested in learning how to quilt in the Ottawa area.  With many meetings and sew-ins throughout the year, we encourage members to bring new life to the traditional art of quilting through the use of new patterns, improvisational piecing, an asymmetrical design, minimalism, bold colours, and prints, and the graphic use of solids.  Not sure if this fresh new take on quilting is for you?  Contact us or visit one of our meetings to learn more.
