About Us:

Our mission is to support and encourage the growth and development of modern quilting through art, education, and community. Our group was founded in 2013 to expand the Modern Quilt Guild movement to Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Our original name was Not Your Mama’s Modern Quilt Guild!! We meet monthly to learn and share. Our meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 6 pm. University United Methodist Church on Dalrymple graciously allows us to meet in their Fellowship Hall – a perfect place to gather to share modern quilting fellowship!
