MERGE, an Improv Abstraction quilt, takes an improvisational approach to creating curves and is assembled with an alternative grid layout. Color placement gives the illusion of blocks merging into one another for a playful graphic composition. This quilt was designed and pieced by Karen Foster, and quilted by Sharyl Sheppard.
