We're looking for articles, tutorials, webinars and patterns to add to our growing content library. Designers get competitive financial compensation for their work and retain all copyrights to their designs and patterns. QuiltCon Special Exhibits
The MQG is looking for unique and beautiful special exhibits that have a demonstrable relevance to the modern quilting movement, be it historical, impactful, influential or related to the modern quilting community. Exhibits can include historical, community and charitable quilts. At this time, we are actively seeking an Amish exhibit. Learn more here.


Michael Miller Luxe Fabric Challenge (Quilts)

American Patchwork & Quilting Nine-Patch Challenge (Quilts)

It doesn’t get more basic than a nine-patch block, which means there's a lot of potential! Show us your take on a traditional nine-patch block (any variation), and update it into something totally modern. Entries are eligible for QuiltCon awards and prizes — up to $1000! Learn more.


QuiltCon 2017 Entry (Quilts)

QuiltCon includes a juried quilt show featuring modern quilts by members of the Modern Quilt Guild. The quilts will be juried into the show and may be either shown for exhibit only, or entered into competition and judged. More than $15,000 in prizes. Learn more.


Modern Quilt Guild 2017 Webinars (Faculty)

Compensation: Paid
We’re looking for teachers and presenters to lead one-hour webinars, which are free to MQG members. Each webinar is recorded and later posted on the members-only portion of the MQG website. Presenters will be compensated for their time. Learn more.


QuiltCon 2018 Teachers & Lecturers (Faculty)
Deadline: December 31, 2016
Compensation: Paid, plus travel
Applications are now open for QuiltCon 2018! We’re now accepting proposals for 3-hour, 6-hour and 9-hour workshops as well as 45-minute lectures on a variety of topics. Learn more.
