QuiltCon 2023 Community Outreach Quilts for Sale

One of the MQG’s largest-scale charity projects is back and better than ever! This year, participating active MQG guilds have the opportunity to sell their Community Outreach quilts during QuiltCon (and before) to raise funds for the benefit of two charitable programs supported by the Brown Sugar Stitchers Guild of Atlanta: The Carrie Steele Pitts’ Home and the children’s sickle cell disease program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Our goal is to make it easier than ever for participating groups to fundraise for nonprofit organizations with this challenge.

Here’s where you come in! These quilts are available for purchase BEFORE QUILTCON! You won’t get the actual quilt in your hands until after the show, but we thought opening the purchasing before the show would be fun to get folks excited. So shop and know that your purchase is going to support two amazing organizations in the Atlanta area.

Groups were instructed to make twin-size quilts, approximately 65” x 85”, so the quilts below all fall into that range of twin size, with a little wiggle room.
