We used the teal to green colorway because it depicts colors of Montana forests and waterways. Our theme is Glacier National Park. We used delectable mountain blocks with scrappy rectangle “lake” blocks with the colors going from light to dark and dark to light. There is even a ghost block that reminds us of the fire season when we can’t see the mountains at all. Glacier is an International Dark Sky Park due to their commitment to decrease light pollution, with its motto being “half the park is after dark”. It is quilted with the idea of showing the phases of the moon complimenting the transition of the quilt colors.
