Teach at QuiltCon 2023

We are looking for experienced instructors with fresh material, teaching techniques of interest to modern quilters to teach at QuiltCon 2023 in Atlanta, GA. We typically look for technique-based workshops that yield some type of project that last 3-6 hours. We are also accepting 45-minute lecture proposals on technique, history, style, and other quilting topics. Submit today!

Quilt & Block Designs

We're looking for intermediate to advanced quilt patterns with a mix of traditional piecing and foundation paper piecing designs. We will supply fabric and batting through our sponsors. Throw and twin-size quilts are preferred, but the pattern can include multiple sizes. Submit today! We are also seeking designs for the MQG Block Study program. Your block design would be turned into a pattern and used as the foundation of two quilts, which will be made by sample sewists. Submit right here.

QuiltCon Special Exhibits

The MQG is looking for unique and beautiful special exhibits that have demonstrable relevance to the modern quilting movement, be it historical, impactful, influential, or related to the modern quilting community. Exhibits can include historical, community, and charitable quilts. Learn more here.
