Southern Appalachian MQG

Nestled in the Appalachian mountains, we serve Western NC, Eastern TN, and Northern GA. We’re a fun group of creatives, enjoying our diversities and celebrating our common threads. We participate yearly in the QuiltConCharity Quilt Challenge and have a very active Charity Quilt presence, supporting both local and national outreach programs. At our monthly meetings, we have tasty sweet & savory foods, educational programs, challenges, Sew-And-Tell, Ph.D. (projects have done) yearly challenge, and numerous sew-ins. We meet monthly (except in December) on the second Thursday of the month, 5:30 pm at Bless My Stitches Quilt Shop in Murphy NC. Our October meetings for 2019 and 2020 will be at our Quilt Exhibit at Cherokee Arts Council at the MAC in downtown Murphy. Come join us!
