Dhahran Oasis MQG

In 1983 a small group of ladies met through the Dhahran Women’s Group (DWG) and started a sewing circle. It slowly evolved into a group for quilters. In 1992, an additional time to meet was formed for working ladies. These two groups merged and officially became the Dhahran Oasis Quilt Guild. What began with a few ladies, a pair of scissors, and a yard of fabric is now a 30-year-old, multi-cultural teaching guild providing instruction and support in the art of quilting. The guild, which has its very own “quilt house”, welcomes all levels of quilters, offers 3x weekly Open Sew Days, an annual Quilt Show, a Charity Program, Block of the Month, Classes & Workshops, Quiltalongs, Swaps, and more.
